The Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) represents 41 Police and Crime Commissioners in England and Wales.
“PPC implicitly understood us as an organisation and interpreted our brief quickly and to budget, bringing creativity and pragmatism to the process. They produced all our campaign collateral and delivered a campaign in a handful of weeks, with energy, tenacity, and enthusiasm. The PPC team demonstrated impeccable professionalism in representing our organisation in outreach with members and stakeholders and exceeded our expectations and the ambitious targets we set for the campaign in the process.”
– Catherine Bithell, Head of Communications and Public Affairs, Association of Police and Crime Commissioners
The APCC contacted us to help raise awareness of Police and Crime Commissioners in the run-up to elections in May 2024. The aim was to win hearts and minds and inspire people to vote.
We created a campaign called ‘Your voice, your police’. We produced videos, stills and a series of case study stories featuring people from across England and Wales about the benefit of PCC initiatives.
They had the following themes:
Our material was used extensively on social media and websites to promote the work of Police and Crime Commissioners. Each post and video carried the message Vote for your next Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) on 2 May.
The campaign reached a broad audience on LinkedIn, X and Facebook as well as a number of websites. Page impressions on LinkedIn rose by 168 per cent and by on Facebook by 275 per cent and there were almost 90,000 impressions on X.
The six-week campaign raised the profile of the PCC elections and it created a bank of material for the APCC to use in the future.
