Having started her career at the BBC, Sarah is now a leading communications industry expert on change communication and reputation management, known for her high professional standards. She was President of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in 2015 and is an elected Fellow. She is a trusted board-level advisor and helps organisations handle challenging or sensitive issues. Sarah is an Independent Advisor for the Welsh Assembly Commission, Vice Chair of Manx Care, Chair of the Taylor Bennett Foundation, a Trustee of Bristol Student’s Union and a Freeman of the Company of Communicators.
Nicola is an experienced and award-winning PR and communications consultant. She has represented some of Wales’ best-known brands. She headed a successful Cardiff-based consultancy for many years; leading on major campaigns and working with clients including Welsh Government, Wales & West Utilities, Willmott Dixon Partnerships and Dwr Cymru Welsh Water.
Cheryl has over 20 years’ experience of developing and leading communications campaigns. Her experience spans senior in-house roles for high-profile public sector organisations. She also has extensive experience in PR consultancy. During the pandemic she led communications for DVSA's vehicle testing team. She’s worked at the University of Bristol and Avon and Somerset Police. For 15 years she was an Associate Director at Forster, the London social change consultancy. She is a natural collaborator, energetic and results driven, with a passion for creating positive change.
Rob is former editor of the Western Daily Press and deputy editor of the Bristol Evening Post. He has a reputation for high ethical and journalistic standards. Rob works on issues and crisis management, strategy reviews and media training.
Lesley built and led communication teams in the NHS at local, regional and national level before running a successful PR consultancy specialising in issues & crisis management and media training. She also co-founded a specialist independent review and inquiry consultancy and worked on some of its most high-profile reviews, including the Savile Inquiry. She started her career as a medical editor which included two years with the World Health Organisation in Geneva.
Bryony is a very experienced PA and office manager, having worked for corporates, not-for-profits and some high-profile individuals. She works hard to ensure all PPC’s clients have a good experience managing the team’s diaries, issuing contracts and managing the finances of the business.
Magnus has had two careers – first as a broadcast journalist and presenter with the BBC and several commercial radio and TV stations, then as an adviser and trainer in verbal communications. Now officially retired, he still enjoys advising high-profile individuals and their organisations on key messages and their presentation, especially in challenging times. Magnus provides PPC with sage advice on high-profile issues & crisis management and media management for clients.
