Communications support for a school purchasing a neighbouring nursery

Holme Grange is an independent co-educational school for 2 -16-year-olds in Berkshire. We have helped Holme Grange with a series of communication issues.
Challenge
Holme Grange School wanted communications support over the purchase of a neighbouring nursery and the development of a new sports’ hall. The school also asked for help to prepare for challenging issues and critical situations.
Solution
We produced press releases and media guidance for the purchase of the nursery and the sports’ hall development. We also developed and delivered a real-time exercise to the senior leadership team in dealing with a critical situation and its aftermath.
Impact
Holme Grange School now has a detailed suite of material to draw on in the event of a wide range of issues and its senior staff have understanding of dealing with an imagined crisis and how it would affect the school, its staff and pupils and attract considerable interest from the media.
